Currently listening to: WXRT's Tribute to Woodstock Weekend

I know, I know, I'm long overdue for an update. Hard to believe the summer is almost over, but it's been a pretty good one for shows. Check out my 2009 Concert List for various pics. For the most part, I'm caught up with posting them all too. Shocking, I know! ;)

Now, the reason for this update. This weekend happens to be the 40th anniversary of Woodstock. It's also been approx 10 years since I attended the 30th anniversary of Woodstock. Well, I never got around to posting info and pics from that weekend. So, here ya go. Woodstock '99 in all its music filled glory! Of course it's a long read, so I hope you have some spare time. While putting this together, looking back on that monstrous event, I still think about how cool it was to have gone. While there may never be another celebration of that magnitude, at least I can say, I was at one of them.

The next little diddy I'm working on will be about my Rock n Roll Hall of Fame weekend. Truely a once in a lifetime event that I am so happy to have been a part of.

Currently listening to: "Leper Messiah" (live at Le Bataclan, Paris, 2003) - Metallica

HOLY MAN...in two days I leave for Cleveland. Why you may ask? I will tell you why. I will be at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Why is that a big deal? Metallica (my ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND) are being inducted!! Yeah, I still can't believe I will be there to see it live in person! Even better, I get to share this Metalli-moment with some awesome friends!! It's going to be an amazing weekend!

Currently listening to: "One" - Metallica

Well, well, well. It is now 2009. Can you believe it? I can't!

Luckily for me, 2009 has started off with a BANG! January is my ultimate Metalli-month! Three SHOWS plus the announcement that Metallica is being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April. The only thing that will make this month any better will be if I win Meet and Greet for one of the Chicago shows later this month! HEHE

I've already got some shows lined up for the year. Check out my 2009 Concert list if you're interested.

I feel great things are in store during 2009. I hope the ride is a good one! :)
