In May 2009, when I saw Royal Bliss for the first time opening for Buckcherry in Milwaukee, I instantly became a fan. I also realized songs I had heard, and liked, on my local radio station 95.1 were by them! Their live show had so much energy. I couldn't wait to see them again. By the end of 2009, I had seen them live 5 times. Talk about a great bunch of guys as well. I had NO IDEA it would be almost a year to the date of my last RB show that I'd have to wait to see them again. Although, they played 6 new songs so it was worth the wait. With a new bass player this time around (who is crazy as hell on stage - I thought he was going to knock Chris down a couple of times during the night) the band still had that energy I remembered. The new songs are TOTALLY awesome. Apparently the new album will be out the first part of next year. I hate waiting, but at least I know it will be worth it when it is released! I was able to talk and catch up with the guys before/after the show. Everyone seems to be doing well. I told them to please not wait a year to come back! Hopefully 6 months from now, I'll be able to get another RB fix!
